Tis The Season To Go Bald! Hooray!

So I still have some hair left after ripping it out for the past couple months. ;) seriously no. But needless to say I did manage to knit all of my Christmas. Have one thing left to block and I am working on a last minute gift because my grandma decided to come to town last minute but that doesn't count to me because it wasn't preplanned. :) But needless to say all has worked out better than plan :)

I want to wish you all a Merry Christmas.
so here we go.
May your Christmas be full of family, warmth, and blessings. May you find wealth in the company you have and not the presents you receive. I pray that you all reflect on the true meaning of Christmas. Not food. Not gifts. Not cute outfits for the kiddos... :) But the birth of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. It is only through his birth, death, and resurrection that we are truly free.
Thank you Father God for sending us your beloved son. You truly are a good God and I love you, Father.

SOOOOOOO... With that said...!!! PEACE OUT!

Pa Pa Pa Pa Progress!

Almost done with the knitting of Christmas presents! :)
Not bad I might add.

Is it selfish that I miss knitting for myself? lol I mean I like knitting for others but I'd really like some new dishcloths for our new apartment. And a Clapotis. and a hat. and cozy for my cups and french press.
Ravelry is much too addicting for patterns. lol

And Curly... if you are reading this... Thank you for your comments :) I don't know how to respond to those... :*( but I appreciate you. Really. You are such a kind soul and I appreciate your openness in the little you have written. Much love, sista!

Welp. Time to go. I shall write some more some other time!

Peace, love, and chicken grease!

Pooooooop. There. I said it.

So I was wondering how boring my blogs are...
I'm fairly certain that no one reads them because none of my friends know that I have a blog let alone know what a blog is.
oh well.

I did manage to organize my yarn last night :) (yawn) lol
I was excited about it though because anyone who has a craft knows that things accumluate.
Needles, yarn (used and un-used), patterns, books, little tools here and there, project bags, unfinished projects, and other odds and ends. SO my momma was giving away this cool two tier wooden shelf (nothing too special but made me happy) and thought it would work perfectly in my corner of the living room. YAY ME!
My husband wasn't too thrilled of the idea to begin with but he warmed up to it once he saw how happy it made me! :)
Not to mention... he did take up half the dining room with his reptiles so I think it's only fair. Thank you.
One thing that was nice when I pulled it all together was that I was able to see that I have a lot more unused yarn than I thought I did and really should only be buying yarn for Christmas presents and nothing else... tee hee :)

SPEAKING OF CHRISTMAS! I started today and screwed it up. :(
back to square one.
I've decided that anything that I can use Cascade 128 on would work wonderfully. :)
Or burly spun. The bulkier the faster! woo hoo!
looks like it is neckwarmer/cowls for everyone! well... except for my niece and nephews. They get hats.
Still don't know what to get my husband. 4 Christmas' together and I still suck at shopping for him.
Hmm.. oh well.

peace!

New

This would be a test and only a test.

I'm new this whole blogging thing. Thought I would give it a try and set it up for my Ravelry account.
I'm fairly certain I will find a way to mess this up. :)
